proudly launches James Lavelle’s brand new DJ mix compilation
“GU37 - Bangkok” with a very special party on Saturday June 13th
at 808 nightclub. Global Underground, one of the world’s leading
dance music labels, has picked Bangkok for the next installment in
their GU ‘City Series’ and it’s mixed by legendary DJ - James Lavelle
(U.N.K.L.E).
Global Underground is a true pioneer of the DJ mix album and have
released a varied series of electronic based music compilation albums
since its inception in 1996. These albums reflect the performance and
style of high profile DJs in different ‘city venues’ from around the world.
Each release in the series is based on the idea that Global-
Underground will take one of the world’s most prominent DJs to play
a party in one of the most unusual, exotic clubbing locations on Earth.
This DJ set is then released in a 2 x CD and Limited Edition ‘Long Box’
format that captures the true experience and feel of the GU party
through the unique and personal DJ soundtrack, contemporary
photography and extensive sleeve notes contained within the package.
Some previous artists who have recorded albums in the GU series
include Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia,
